Alison Powell, the owner of A & M Sugarcraft, is a prize-winning baker and decorator entering competitions with the National Association of Master Bakers, Cake International and Salon Culinaire since 2006. She has been awarded medals and awards for Novelty Cakes, Wedding Cakes, and Sculpted Cakes. as well as being a finalist for 2 years in the National Cupcake Championship.
With over 20+ years’ experience of making prize winning cakes for corporate, family, celebration and charity events, each delicious cake from A & M Sugarcraft is individually crafted to your bespoke requirements and budget.

Our shop has been open for 6 years in Mortlake. After having made cakes for family and friends initially I took such great pleasure in this hobby that I decided to turn into a career.
After going on a number of different cake decorating and design courses I qualified and made the decision to take the giant leap into setting up and owning my own cake business. Since then I’ve gone on to win places in competitions for both large cakes & cupcakes and have had cakes featured in Hello! Magazine & national press.
Because of my passion for cake making and decorating I have built up a very loyal and long-standing client base in the local area and stretching into Central London for the more corporate events. We welcome customers across Richmond, East Sheen, Barnes and Twickenham.
Following an initial cake consultation, when we can discuss cake flavours, decorations, colours, size, structure, delivery or collection and pricing. I will then design and create the perfect cake for your special occasion. All special dietary requirements including allergens, gluten free, dairy free and vegan can be catered for.
